Introducing…
The Athlete: Real Talk Rotations
(Our version of speed mentoring.)

Instead of traditional panels where only a few voices dominate the conversation, or long keynote sessions that limit interaction, we’ve intentionally designed an experience that prioritizes access, depth, and meaningful connection. At this year’s Athlete Mental Health Summit, The Athlete: Real Talk Rotations will cultivate learning through intimate, guided conversations, not just from a stage.
“On the Clock: Huddle Sessions” will rotate in a high-energy format with conversations focused on
- building confidence
- anxiety reducing strategies
- calculated risk-taking
- deciding when to grit and when to quit
- nutrition, physical health, injury prevention
- overcoming adversity & dealing with disappointment
- navigating the complex decisions today’s athletes and families face.
Special attention will be given to the role of parents as partners in athlete development, including how to provide effective support while balancing expectations, autonomy, and wellbeing.

Separate student groups will engage in small-group rotations with leading athletic and mental health professionals who have lived the journey of sport; college athletes, coaches, health and wellness specialists, and those with powerful stories of overcoming adversity. This format allows every attendee (athletes, parents & youth coaches) the opportunity to listen, ask questions, and engage directly.
