Aubrey Massey
Meet the Founder
Aubrey Massey is a junior in high school and Student Athlete competing in Track & Field. Aubrey’s athletic journey dating back to youth AAU track has endured the demands and pressures of competing. Aubrey knows firsthand the positive and negative psychological & social effect playing sports can have. She has watched her peers compete against anxiety, depression, and performance related stress as they balance academic requirements, parental & coach expectations, peer-pressure, and intense physical and emotional training. PCAN (Person-Centered Athletic Network) was founded by Aubrey in order to create a safe space where she and other student athletes can gain confidence to openly discuss their mental health concerns, and learn more about how to “cope & compete” without fear or embarrassment.
